Definition
Price of a good determined or judged from the available or known information. In anti dumping monitoring, for example, the value of an import is arrived at by computing the production cost (cost of materials, labor, and other inputs) plus general expenses (at least 10 percent of the production cost) plus profit (at least 8 percent of the sum of the production cost and general expenses) plus cost of packing and shipping.
