content validity
Definition
The degree to which a theory takes into account all aspects of a particular situation. For example, a business that wishes to measure how many of its employees are satisfied in their jobs using a particular psychological scale should first examine the scale's content validity to make sure that important factors contributing to job satisfaction are taken into account.
