cumulative method

Definition

A multi-winner system of voting that allows more proportional representation than winner-take-all methods. In a typical cumulative method scenario, each voting individual receives several points to distribute among multiple options, and all options receiving more than a certain amount of votes are chosen or enacted. This method is sometimes used for business strategy decisions in which multiple chosen options are permissible.
