Definition
Three general classifications are: (1) Light damage: relatively easily-repairable damage that does not preclude the use of the item for its intended purpose. (2) Moderate damage: requires major repairs and effectively precludes the use of the item for its intended purpose. (3) Severe damage: requires complete reconstruction of the item before it can be used again for its intended purpose.
