1.Unit of angle or arc measure, equal to 60 minutes (60'), 3600 seconds (3600"), 0.017 of a radian, or 1/360th of a circle. On the surface of earth it averages 60 nautical miles or 111.12 kilometers (about 69 statute miles).
2.Measure of temperature on a decimal scale, see Celsius scale and Fahrenheit scale.
3.Measure of the density of crude oil on an inverted scale (see API gravity).
