drip marketing
Definition
A market strategy that utilizes the sending of promotional messages to consumers over time. This is developed in response to the Law of 29 which posits that a person will not turn into a client until he has seen market promotions 29 times. The most common form of drip marketing are email, newsletters, postcards and social networks.
