electronic meeting system (EMS)
Definition
Group meeting software platform that provides electronic features that facilitates participation, problem-solving and decision-making. A system (similar to web conferencing) allows brainstorming, voting and discussion through anonymous parallel information exchange. See also Group Decision Support System (GDSS) or Organizational Decision Support System (ODSS).
