Definition
Temporary account for compensation that can't be distributed due to trading errors from untimely posting of transactions or inconsistencies, such as the wrong name on a bank account or incorrect routing numbers to make a money transfer. Discrepancies should be resolved as soon as possible to make payments to the correct parties.
