Definition
A distribution strategy that utilizes multiple delivery channels and a high distribution volume to reach as many potential customers as possible. An extensive distribution strategy is often used in an attempt to achieve market penetration by making information about a product or product line, as well as the product themselves, available to a large number of individuals. The opposite of selective distribution.
