Definition
The amount of revenue that a government collects. This amount is dependent upon tax rates, tax exemptions, and tax breaks that are offered to individuals and businesses. This amount is often states as a percentage of the fiscal capacity and it helps in estimating the total amount that could be collected by the government in revenue.
