Definition
Charge on both the fixed assets (land, buildings, machinery) and the floating assets (inventory, cash, accounts receivable) of a borrower. It freezes ('crystallizes' on) all assets of the borrower at the time a default occurs. Also called fixed and floating lien or fixed and floating debenture.
