1. Chemical: List of all active or inert components of a product with their percentage weights or volumes.

2. Mathematical: Equation or a set of instructions that solves a certain type of problems in a prescribed manner. In a formula, the same set of inputs always produces the same output(s).

In order to solve the math equation, you had to come up with the right formula that would allow you to plug in the right numbers.

During my math final, I forgot the formula for how to calculate the area of a triangle, so I got that question wrong.
