Definition
Any individual enrolled in a university that meets the institution's standard for full time status. Generally, this means a minimum of 12 credit hours taken during a single post-secondary school's term. Declaration as a full-time student has significant tax break and dependency implications for both the student and the student's parents or legal guardians.
