Definition
Inflammation of the stomach and the intestines caused usually be infestation of certain bacteria or viruses, food poisoning, or by toxic substances ingested with contaminated food. Its general symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting. Caused also by lactose intolerance.
