gross working capital
Definition
The liquid funds available to a business and any assets that are anticipated will be exchanged for cash within a one year period. An assessment of the level of gross working capital for a business can be used to estimate its anticipated annual cash flow that will be available for use, although the measure does not take into account current liabilities.
