harmless warrant
Definition
A warrant requiring its holder to surrender a bond that is similar when purchasing a new fixed income debt instrument. In this case, both the new and the old bond must possess similar terms such as principal, yield, and maturity. Harmless warrants are also known as wedding warrants.
