incident management (IcM)
Definition
Activities a company uses to identify, classify, investigate, and repair hazards, hazardous situations, and crisis events. It also includes the restoration of operations as soon as possible after an incident takes place to minimize the impact the situation has on normal business operations, productivity, and level of service.
