Legislation enacted in 1968, patterned after the Securities Law of 1933, which mandates the registration of subdivisions consisting of 100 or more non-exempt lots with Department of Housing and Urban Development. The intent of the act is to protect purchasers from fraud and misrepresentation through full disclosure submitted in a property report.
