intra-group services
Definition
Services provided by individual entities or group members that benefit group as a whole. Services such as administration, information technology, finance, or distribution are provided in an arm's length relationship with the central organization. Transfer pricing requirements in most countries requires that the intra-group transactions be subject to normal cross-border tax treatment. Usually applies to multinational companies.
