Definition

The reintroduction of product inventory to the marketplace by an external distributor that has purchased unsold inventory from the original product manufacturer or distributor. Often used as a solution in situations involving excess inventory or low product demand. The remarketed product is often repackaged or rebranded and distributed through alternative channels.
