Definition

A contract that is initiated between a parent company and a subsidiary that will guarantee that the parent company provides all of the financing that is needed to the subsidiary throughout a specified period of time. Having these agreements in place helps the subsidiary company to appear more creditworthy in the eyes of its potential lenders.
