learning cycle
Definition
A theory of learning proposed by David Kolb that consists of four steps, including concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation, that is used in business process improvement approaches to foster cultures of continuous improvement. After the experimentation step, the learning cycle begins again with new data based on experience.
