lease to own
Definition
An agreement between an owner and lessee which allows for the option of purchasing a leased item when the lease period expires. A lease to own arrangement generally includes a clause with a predetermined time and price for the lessee to make the purchase. In most cases, some or all of the lease payments can be applied toward the purchase.
