long form bill of lading (B/L)
Definition
B/L with the terms and conditions of carriage (the rights, responsibilities and liabilities of the carrier and the shipper) printed on its back. These terms are governed generally either by the older Hague rules or the more recent Hague-Visby rules. See also short form bill of lading.
