Definition

Situation where the individual or group in charge is unjust, dishonest, or ineffective in their leadership. In many cases, maladministration means that a circumstance is so bad it must be investigated or reprimanded. Maladministration is commonly used in the medical field for the situation where a drug is either incorrectly or illegally administered to a patient. Also frequently used to describe corrupt behavior by any public official.
