middle market manufacturing exporter (MMME)
Definition
A category applied to manufacturers who ship less than a million dollars per year of merchandise overseas, and who employ less than five hundred individuals. The term "middle market manufacturing exporter" refers to businesses in the median range between small exporting businesses and large exporting corporations.
