midnight deadline
Definition
A deadline for completion of a process that occurs at the end of a calendar day at midnight. Most business deadlines occur at the end of the business day, or close of business, which generally occurs at 5pm. Some exceptions exist however, such as the April 15th deadline for filing taxes, for which the deadline occurs at midnight of the day listed.
