millibar
Definition
Older but still common unit of atmospheric pressure, equal to one-thousandth of a bar, about 0.03 inches (0.76 millimeters) of mercury, or about 0.14 pounds per square inch. The newer unit is called kilopascal (equal to 10 millibars).
