Definition
More than one million but (typically) less than one billion; this term is used as a frame of reference for multiple millions. For example, a company that is worth 10 million dollars may simply indicate that it is worth "millions of dollars," which is left to interpretation. By saying that a company is worth millions of dollars, an individual does not immediately know if the company is worth 10 million dollars or possibly more.
