net lending
Definition
The extra funds available in a particular sector that can be used in providing loans - either direct or indirect - to other counterparts. This figure is determined by taking the net savings plus the net capital transfers minus the value of acquisitions minus the disposed non-financial assets minus the fixed amount of capital that is used. Prior to even being considered for the lending of funds, a company must meet all other additional obligations that are required.
