non-business day
Definition
Public holiday, weekend, or any other day not counted as one on which normal business is transacted. Bills of exchange and other contracts falling due and payable on a non-business day are payable on the succeeding business day. Non-business days are excluded also in computing days of grace, allowed in an agreement such as an insurance policy.
