non-discretionary bonus

Definition

A bonus that is required to be paid based on certain criteria set forth in a contract or agreement. Unlike a discretionary bonus, this bonus is paid on a routine basis (i.e. monthly or quarterly) and is usually a set amount or percentage set forth in the agreement.
