Reaction characterized by the elimination, hiding, or denial of the existence of incriminating evidence, or the adoption of delaying tactics such as stonewalling investigative efforts. It is one of the four ways a management may choose to respond to environmental and social problems its activities have caused. For the other three see accommodating response, defensive response, and proactive response.
