Definition
Health disorder (such as carpal tunnel syndrome in secretaries, decompression sickness in divers, lead poisoning in gasoline-exposed workers, and several types of cancers in workers in various chemical industries) caused by occupational hazards. Also called industrial disease or occupational illness.
