official staff commentary

A commentary made by the Federal Reserve explaining interpretations of regulations and providing guidance on consumers' exercise of rights. It is written in question and answer style. The commentary is focused on relevant parts of consumer protection regulation. Up to date, the Federal Reserve Board has published staff commentaries pertaining to electronic funds transfers known as Regulation E, and consumer credit known as Regulation Z.
