An instruction attached to an order requesting price improvement if possible. For example, an order to buy 100 shares of MSFT at $24.23 or better conveys an instruction to buy the shares at $24.23 or lower if possible. A sell order with the or better price improvement instruction means to sell it at a higher price if possible.
