pages per minute (PPM)
Definition
Maximum number of letter-size (or A4-size) pages of text generated by a printer in one minute, after allowing for printer warm up or configuration time. This speed is rated by the print-engine manufacturer who is not necessarily the same as the printer manufacturer.
