pageview
Definition
One accessing of a webpage by a user or website visitor. It differs from a pagehit where a 'hit' counts the number of times all elements of a page (ads, graphics, audio/video files, links, etc.) have been accessed. If a webpage is divided into two or more frames, it may result in one pageview recorded as several pageviews. Number of pageviews in a day is a measure of the visitor traffic at a website.
