pooled interdependence
Definition
A relatively loose organizational model where each business unit performs its own separate functions, might not interact with other units, and does not directly depend on other units, although it contributes to the success of the whole enterprise. In a pooled interdependence environment, the units depend on each other indirectly so one unsuccessful unit can hurt the entire business.
