reloading

Definition

The practice of taking out a loan to pay off an existing loan. Borrowers often take out new loans to take advantage of interest rates that are lower than what they are currently paying. They may also use a new loan to consolidate existing debt. Reloading has advantages, but it may encourage a pattern of endless debt.
