Definition
A diagram that shows the possibility of profit or loss of a given investment. This graphical representation of two variables- capital (vertical axis) and probability of a profit/loss (horizontal axis) visually highlights the risk involved in any given investment to inform business decisions on such investment. It allows businesses/investors to devise countermeasures if and where necessary.
