semi-structured interview
Definition
A method of vetting prospective employees in person that takes a flexible approach and permits questions to arise in response to the dialog. In a semi-structured interview, the personnel staff responsible for selecting new candidates for hiring by a business will often put together a series of themes to be explored, rather than having a formal structure and fixed question set.
