settlement price

Definition

Last price paid for a financial or commodity derivative on any trading day. It is a computed price based on the (1) closing offer and bid price, (2) last actual traded price, and (3) weighted average of prices traded during the closing minutes of the trading day. Also called closing price or settle price.
