shipping accuracy
Definition
The degree of agreement between the quantity and type of stock-keeping units (SKUs) on an order form, picking document, or BOL and those actually present in a given load. Poor shipping accuracy is linked to low levels of customer satisfaction and increased costs for correcting errors. RFID or barcode labeling and scanning systems are often implemented to increase accuracy.
