small lot storage
Definition
Space required for housing a very small quantity of goods. Anything under one full stack of storage pallets falls into this category. When possible, small lots may be combined to conserve space. However, this is not always possible with odd-sized containers or fragile items, or when combination with another lot would complicate inventory management.
