Definition

A tax imposed for the purpose of funding theoretically solidifying projects. The tax is an addition to the income tax and is applicable to individuals, sole proprietors and corporate enterprises. An example is Germany, which imposes a 5.5% additional solidarity tax to its taxpayers.
