stacking height
Definition
The maximum height that boxes, containers, or pallets can be safely stacked. There are many factors that can affect this height. For example, heavy duty pallets might allow greater stacking heights than cheap pine pallets. Non-palletized boxes might have a lower stacking height. Exceeding the recommended stacking height for a given load may cause tipping, shifting, crushing, or other hazards to the product and to handlers.
