Steve Jobs (February 24, 1995 - October 5, 2011) was best known as the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Apple Inc. He was recognized as an American innovator, entrepreneur and was very influential in the technology industry. Along with Steve Wozniak, Jobs was credited with revolutionizing computers and making them personal and affordable. He was also involved in other companies such as Pixar and NeXT, which became the foundation for Apple products like the Mac OS X. In 2011 Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple and died soon after from pancreatic cancer.
