subvention income
Definition
Amount of revenue or funding that will be retained for the payment of operating expenses by not-for-profit organizations. This amount must be explicitly disclosed by not-for-profit organizations, to avoid the appearance of accumulating revenue, and not-for-profit organizations often use formulas to predict these amounts in advance.
