two-name paper
Definition
A popular nickname given to certain kinds of trade paper acceptances. Such papers will always have two signatures, one for the drawer of the paper, and the endorser of that paper. The bank that endorses the paper becomes liable in the event the issuer cannot make payments. Also called double-name paper.
